Welcome to my blog! MY primary objective is to alert my constituents and others in King Township about issues being reviewed at the upcoming Council meetings. I do this as I believe the quality of Council decisions is enhanced when the public is engaged. I hope that residents will make deputations and/or send emails to Council to express their opinion and/or to ask important questions. Also, I include notice of meetings and events which I think are particularly important. I welcome your comments, whether you agree or not with me, and only edit to eliminate inappropriate language.

Community Neighbourhood Plans
In the spring there were community open houses to initiate developing the vision for how we would like two neighbourhoods, one in King city and one in Nobleton to evolve. It's now time to move to the next step. Come to the open houses on Sept 10 and Sept. 12; the one on the 10th is for king City and the one on the 12th is for Nobleton. Renewing The Old
Construction on two designated heritage properties located at the King Heritage and Cultural Centre has begun in July. Heating and electrical lighting are being installed at both the church and the train station; also the interior walls and exterior wood panelling is being painted.
