A new by-law if being considered to govern activity on Township property; and very specifically to set enforcement tools in response to nuisance & loitering on Township property and other public spaces.  Similar to other new by-laws recently introduced this by-law consolidates the current regulatory framework and in addition updates and improves it.  Staff have also reviewed comparable by-laws in other municipalities.  You can read the report and the draft by-law here.  If you have comments please attend 11/14 Council meeting and/or submit your comments in writing to our Clerk Kathryn Moyle kmoyle@king.ca; and I would be pleased if you posted your comments on this website.
