1st round of pulic meetings for the rural zoning bylaw have been held.  If you missed them it is not too late to get involved.  A discussion paper is available at speaking.  The policy planner wants to hear from you.

Is there a larger area map of King City as it shows the hamlets in more specific . I live on a ravine lot and currently is like a bird sanctuary which has a stream running through it and there is a pond where geese have laid they eggs and continue to come. I want to know if this area will be disrrupted with development.

Hi Peter, As you live within urban boundary of King City any development in the hamlets will not impact your ravine lot specifically/directly. I suppose if there was a hamlet development upstream to the stream there could be an impact but I don’t think it is likely. Having said that the Jane King development may have relevance to you. Here is link to notice in Dec.10 KWS; go to page 2. http://kingsentinel.com/?wpfb_dl=680 Public meeting has not been scheduled yet. For background go to search bar on my home page (lower right); put in “jane king.”
