The summer Council hiatus is over and Council meetings are beginning. The first one is on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 PM. It is a Public Planning meeting to consider a zoning bylaw amendment application 6770 King Rd. {northwest corner of King Road and 10th concession) to facilitate a severance.  I do have a couple questions to understand the application better. Specifically it’s not clear to me which business activities will continue in the retained property.  And I’m very interested to understand how the new lots comply with the condition in the PPS which says new lots in prime agricultural areas must maintain flexibility for the potential of future changes in agricultural operations. Here is the proposed severance plan.
