The process to update the Transportation Masterplan is underway. Some public input has already been received (e.g. the survey in fall 2024) and now there is a Public Open House on Tuesday, Apr. 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Zancor Centre. The project is currently entering its third phase, which focuses on creating multi-modal network recommendations, based on the outcomes of engagement and research completed. The Public Open House is an opportunity to provide feedback on potential solutions. Responses will help shape the plan’s objectives and priorities, ensuring that community needs and aspirations are reflected in future transit enhancements. This is an opportunity to provide your feedback on the key findings and strategic direction and recommendations. You can ask questions directly to those preparing the plan. I wish that the location of these Open Houses was more central to King Township. Couldn’t they at least be in the Seniors Centre in King City or even better, the Nobleton Community Hall? Nobleton is more central than the .Zancor Centre.
I also wish that these workshops would run over 2 days. Perhaps Tuesdays do not work for some people.
Hi Nancy, Location will never satisfy. I think your point about running it 2 different nights is very valid. thank you!
