Changing 3 Lots on 7th Concession

Jan 5, 2024 | Developments, Policies, Masterplans | 0 comments

One of the two Council statutory public meetings on Monday January 8 is for a zoning bylaw amendment application involving 3 properties on east side of 7th concession south of 16th Sideroad.  The proposal is to adjust boundaries and for 2 instances sever and convey lands to an adjacent property.  Objective is to consolidate lands to enable a more efficient agricultural operation. As some of these lands are designated natural core in the Oak Ridges Moraine  and some are used for agriculture I think it is particularly important that there is careful review of the implications of the proposed changes.

As it is a public meeting there is no need to register to make comments in person.  If you wish to participate virtually you need to register by noon on Jan. 8 with clerks@king.ca.  You can also email your comments to Council by sending them to clerks@king.ca by noon on Jan. 8.  As its a public meeting there will be no decision except to refer back to Staff
