This celebration is for all King Township residents:  for those who do volunteer in the community and for those who don’t.

In case you have not attended before you may be interested in my description.

The Showcase is where the many organized volunteer groups throughout the Township display, at their table, their activities and interests.  As an attendee you can walk from table to table at your own pace to find out what that group does.  By doing so you may decide that this is a group you would like to join; or you simply will learn what they do.

The Ceremony is where various awards are announced e.g. Citizen of the Year, Youth Award of Merit and many more.

My personal experience is that it is really a very enjoyable evening…and informative.  Hope you will attend!
