On June 15 council agenda there is a a report recommending approval of a zoning bylaw amendment  to permit a greenhouse together with other related uses on the property including an aperi at Kinghaven Farm located at 4305 King Rd. Public meeting for this application was held on March 6; what we heard then was  an innovative plan for a larger hydroponic greenhouse to grow lettuce which will then be harvested with automation. As reviewed in the report the plans for this operation are consistent with with the various policies regulating this agricultural property.
