Wild Life Service in King

I am delighted to tell you that we have entered into a 3 year agreement with Toronto Wildlife Services to provide services to our residents who are confronted with sick or injured wild life.  This follows a one year pilot during which 37 animals were rescued with King (about half picked up by TWS and other half by residents)  and then received veterinary care, rehabilitiation and release; 112 calls were made to the Wildlife Hotline. Prior to the pilot this service had never been offered in King.  As we are a rural municipality this si very good value for $8,500.
